Events

Numerous events have a long tradition in the Venosta Valley. Almost every village has its own village festival in honour of the patron saint, it is celebrated in a convivial atmosphere, with bands and local dishes. Every year in autumn, the cows are adorned with flowers and from the mountain pastures, they are brought back down to the valley. The markets are always pleasant to visit also to get to know the mentality of the Venosta villagers: for example, the weekly Wednesday and the Gollimorkt 16. October in Malles, or the Sealamorkt Market on November 2 and Christmas Market in Glorenza.
